Would appreciate any info about Peter SCHMALTZ, b. about 1870. Newspaper article in the Wilkes-Barre Times 27 Sept 1915 described him as a “merchant and retired veteran ball player.” He was also the manager of that 1915 Field Day at Hughestown. A Walter SCHMALTZ is also mentioned (brother?).
